Hitting the road to get hoteliers and hospitality businesses talking to solve the industry’s biggest challenges
It's official: My award-winning Travel Market Life podcast is hitting the road throughout 2026 with the launch of the UK Hospitality Roundtable Roadshow to connect with hoteliers and industry leaders to explore the future of hospitality.

Following previous successful events in London with Sarova Hotels and at Taplow House with Country House hotels - this series is supported by a panel of industry experts and sponsors. The half-day roundtables are designed to bring together regional directors, hotel managers and department heads to share experiences, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities to future-proof their businesses.
The nationwide tour led by myself - Ryan Haynes - is confirmed with the first three dates in partnership with the host hotels
● New Forest – New Park Manor Hotel of Luxury Family Resorts, Tuesday 18 November 2025
● Northampton – Whittlebury Park Hotel and Spa, Thursday 8 January 2026
● Cornwall – Headland Hotel with the Cornish Hospitality Collective, Tuesday 13 January 2026
Hosting the kick-off to the roadshow, Byron Fiddler, Hotel Manager, New Park Manor Hotel said: “Bringing together hotel leaders from across the region gives us the chance to share insights and address common challenges head-on. Whether it’s booking patterns, revenue management or staffing, we all benefit from open, honest discussion. This roundtable is a timely opportunity to build stronger connections for the future of hospitality.”
The inaugural event in the New Forest will feature local hotel leaders including representatives from New Forest Collection, The Pig, Lime Wood Group, Chewton Glen, Balmer Lawn Hotel and more. With plans to host 10 events across the UK throughout 2026, each roundtable will combine interactive discussions, breakout groups, and insights from expert speakers.
For five years, Travel Market Life has provided a platform for hoteliers to share their voice and ideas. The roadshow takes this one step further - getting out to the regions, sitting with operators on the ground, and creating a space for open conversation and collaboration. It’s about shaping the next era of hospitality together.”
Backing the first set of roundtables include Lead Sponsor Focus on Hospitality (powered by Focus Group), Auden Hospitality, Net Affinity, Studio Moren and Biteluxe.
Alessandra Leoni, Head of Hospitality at Focus on Hospitality, Focus Group said - “At Focus on Hospitality, we believe the strongest solutions come from conversation and connection. The Roundtable Roadshow provides a unique platform for hoteliers to share real-world experiences and explore how technology and teamwork can overcome today’s challenges. We’re delighted to support an initiative that’s as much about people as it is about progress.”
Scot Turner, F&B expert from Auden Hospitality shares his experience of these roundtables - “Ryan’s roundtable format makes it easy for people to really open up and share what’s going on in their businesses. It’s refreshing to have such honest, thought-provoking discussions with peers - and everyone walks away with ideas they can actually use.”

Covering a wide range of topics including food and beverage, IT and digitalisation, marketing and revenue, property development and more, each session is recorded for future podcast features, extending the conversation to the wider industry.
These roundtables are free for hotel management and operators to attend. Ryan is looking for hotels to host the next set of events and contribute to the programme For more information, hotels can reach out to team@travelmarket.life
